I've been researching the old threads here, and I can't understand a couple of things.

hoover1060 in Post# 12662 said "...model 62, and the cheapie 115 Junior. It was basically a model 62 minus the handle grip and handisac bag." So, are the motor parts interchangeable? And, is the same also true for model 29?

Are the carbon brushes for the Convertible the same as model 62?

Last question: The information from the threads is that I can use belts for the Convertible on my model 62, but they should be old belts that have been stretched and worn in. So, I need a couple of belts for my 62. Should I ask people at Vacuumlad for their old Convertible belts?

Thank you for your patience. -Jim

Hey

The carbon brushes are same. For belts I never had a problem with using a new hoover convertible belt but if your concerned about it being to tight just get a couple eureka belts
