I've owned one of these machines in the past - I have now donated it to another local Brisbane collector as I'm downsizing.
Like you - I love them - they're quirky little beasts and oddly enough quite an agile little machine. I especially love the cord rewind mechanism and how it 'shakes' the bag so that the bulk of the dust lands in the dirt capsule - ready for another cleaning with more suction power! LOL Pity for tall folks they're absolutely way too short - built for the Japanese market... (give me another extension tube please! LOL) But alas - I too spent many hours trolling the net trying to find an instruction manual with absolutely no joy. If you come across one - please post it online - I'd love to see it... Can you please post some pics of the machine you scored? Cheers Steve |

It's a sign Matt - you need to buy the one at Morayfield too (it's 5 minutes down the road from me if you want me to collect) and it's another colour to add to your new collection!
That beige colour with the orange coloured cushion is the same as what I had. The one on ebay looks to be in really good condition - with the only issue being that the floor tool is missing and looks like a minor repair to the hose coupler at the machine end... Bid bid bid bid!!! LOL |

For Enamel paintwork, you CAN use Brasso (sometimes) but Brasso can be quite abrasive and does sometimes stain paintwork a darker shade. Silvo is the less-aggressive product in the range. Be careful NOT to let Brasso loose on some plastics - expanded Polystyrene e.g. - it will dissolve them to a soft gooey mess that never hardens again.
T-Cut is safer for paintwork, then Motor-Car (Caranuba) Wax. For Vinyls and other plastics, wash with warm soapy water, then use Plastic Restoration Polish, the kind used for restoring clouded car headlights. Followed by Beeswax. |
