Checkrate/Likes Spotted this a few weeks ago on Preloved, and long story short, Parcelfarce delivered it a whole day early today! One of these has been on my bucket list for a while now. (Was born in Sept 87!) Not sure which one of us has aged better though...) Bloody plaster dust... In dire need of a spa day, it's been used bagless before, I had to throw the 'filter# away (have some more filters to use), and all the seals are covered in plaster dust. In wet mode there's hardly any suction at all, so think somethings amiss there. Will tear it down at some point and see. Still, had a quick play The cord rewind does work, it just needs a bit of weight behind a foot rather than a finger...

My girlfriend bought a DC04 home from her freinds for me to fix, so I moved onto that. Hope to carry on the Aquatronic later this week and get it fully stripped and washed.

Checkrate/Likes *It's back!* Well, as some of youmay know, we had rat issues last year and basically bailed on our rented flat and fled to my mums! The night before we found the rats under the sofa, Eva was asleep, Amy was at work and I stripped the Aquatronic down as above. Plans to get it washed the next night were foiled, and a few weeks later I scooped it all into a box, chucked it in the car with 40 other boxes and dumped it in my mums loft. It came home earlier in the week!!! From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 Took me a while to find the screws, but eventually progress could continue! From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 The rubbers were cleaned. I attribute all of the rubbish performance to these seals From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 And re-assembled the whole thing last night watching celebrity juice! However, the motor did not work. The LED's came on, and the pump worked but no motor. Went to bed at that point,and had another look tonight. Turns out one of the motor terminal pins had come out of the circuit board. About to call my stepdad and ask if I could pop over tomorrow, I idly poked the terminal back into the board and it held. Re-assembled it again and voila, it worked! Will get it soldered one day, probably! But it works! Suction is restored! Ran it round downstairs and it was brilliant. From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 Clunky, Heavy, short cord, the hose end keeps coming out of the pole, the floor brush is rubbish on out rug, tools are a pain to get to but IT HAS LITTLE LED'S! What more can you want?? Pump doesnt pump water.Runs but no pumpy. Will check the pipes arent kinked and possibly swap the wires around. But after more vacuuming! From Hoover Aquatronic S4386 NB - The Miele's turbobrush fits it as it has 35mm tools. Hardly spins at all on full speed. Gotta love old 'Hoover's'!
