Finally!!! Vacmakers are paying more attention to combining the wiping benefits of mops and Swiffer pads with the pick up action of a vacuum cleaner! It's been done before (Sanyo Stick Vac, Swiffer-Vac, Filter Queen microfibre floor tool, mop attachment for vacs, Shark Professional, Dyson Hard), but we really should see a mopping bare floor tool now included with every canister vac!

Glad to see everyone is trying to help us clean bare floors better now! The old bare floor brushes are not enough.....are Miele and Panasonic and Tacony hearing us?

The nozzle and front end of that upright look a LOT like the Platinum Force upright I used to have.... I miss that thing dearly....

It would be interesting to find out if that mopping bare floor tool stores on board the upright.

Better still, it should store on board and the vac itself should suck away the dust on the mop! Kind of like the self-cleaning dusters included on some Eureka uprights! :-)

Very different attachment-but isn't it really a dry mop with a suction inlet so it can be connected to your vacuum? At least the vacuum cleaner will get rid of the dirt the dry mop loosens up!
