Does anyone have information on this vacuum? It is a pink hoover convertible special. I think it might be a model 32. Is it very rare/sought after?

That beauty is in pretty decent shape. The model 32 was made from I think 1962-1969. I used to have a purple one, had a mishap with the motor though and got rid of it. Still kicking myself for that, but I needed the space

Think Hoover called that "Clover Pink" ....as for rare, I've never seen one in pink myself, but always wanted one.

Definitely a more desirable color....where did you pick this up at if I may ask?

Not sure if you would want to detail it or leave it in the current condition....Novus Plastic Polishes do a decent job on the hoods, but from the looks of it i'd just use it and enjoy it as is if I were you. Someone definitely didn't abuse that beauty from what I can tell, at least from the overall appearance

Model 32 Special, 1962 till about 1964. Clover Pink and Perl White are the colors. This was the low end model (high end had the head light). This was replaced by the model 33 in lavendar (purple) in 1964. Yours is all original except for the plug (plug is hard to see in pic). As far as rare, well that's hard to say. I used to think they were but I have seen many over the last couple of years. I'll say this, may not be rare but is a bit uncommon and can be sought after.

Nice 32. That's the only convertible special I still need to find.
Here's a 65 on ebay. It has a newer bag but looks ok. (not my listing btw)

The 32 was the first Convertible I ever saw or ran. My Aunt Lu got one brand new when I was about 6 or 7. Although I have one in my collection, it isn't hers. Here's my 32, all original.

The house I'm moving into has had one exactly like that was burried in the garage for decades. It was my friend's grandmother's vac, and we're renting the house so I get the vacs in it.My friend's mom remembered it as a kid in the early 70's I beleive, but I'm sure she had it since it came out in the 60's. I'm scared to take it apart because I already know everything is seized from 20+ years in the garage.

Hello, I have a Hoover Convertible Special Model 32. It’s all original except the bag Assembly. If anyone has a pink Convertible Special bag assembly for a 32, or know how I could get one, please message me.
I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
