The blockages are almost impossible to see. You have to look down each of the 8 small cones (a torch will help) to see that the base of each will be blocked solid. |

Np Hopefully I will find a box, but its the dc07 origin instead of stdndard, with the double handle :D good cyclone, but the bad thing is its de rooted which means louder dyson cyclones |

The cyclones were designed in such a way that dirt was liable to get stuck. I presume that "de-rooted" refers to the newer design of cyclone which had the modifications but was noisier. |

Did you guys get different DC07's than we got in the US? After having sold more than a thousand DC07's and having repaired several hundred (normal maint. issues), I've never seen even one with blocked cyclones. There's always dust in the fine dust collection chamber, but the individual cyclone itself I've never seen clogged. Not so with the DC17 however. Those cyclones did get clogged when the fine dust collector seal got out of place.
