On my rainbow e-series single speeds they have a little cover held on by two screws between the switch and a thing that says e-series and when you take it off theres a little circular hole and i was watching a youtube video where there was a button or light or something in there what is it or what does it do?

Re: Red light.

Yes, it is the overheat sensor. My grandmother's never worked properly, though.
