Now why is this not a surprise. At first cashing in on steam mops like Shark and cordless vacs like electrolux now this. I guess this will be no doubt inferior compared to the Karcher |

I think I'll stick to my Karcher - and the other thing that's probably not even considered by Vax or Hoover - is the rather handy extension pole you can now buy for the Karcher.

Browsing through Lakeland a few months ago I see Leifheit offers one now as well. Am sure we'll see other manufacturers adding similar products in the future, they do seem to be the must-have gadget at the moment.
Out of all of them I prefer the original Karcher, and that's what I use as my everyday shower squeegee in addition to cleaning windows. Got to admit, when I first heard of them I did think it was a frivolous idea, and sure to be a passing fad. It was only after most of my friends and relatives bought one, and I borrowed my mother's, that I was converted and had to get one. It's one of the few gadgety appliances that really lives up to its claims. |

I adore mine too. As soon as Comet went bust, I went to one of their nearest stores and bought reduced prices on the smaller "French frame' squeegee wiper attachment. To anyone who has one, avoid Windowlene liquid spray as it smears - I use Mr Muscle and its probably my favourite of the vinegar mix cleaning agents. Just spray on neat and the Karcher takes it off.
