Does anyone with a 1979 Kirby Tradition, which has the speed switch inside the headlight cap, know if any part numbers are stamped on the speed switch components, like, say, 134378?

Thank you,

Ben

When I go to pick up my '79 from "Renovation".

Alex,

About that rebuild: would it have the plastic Kevlar fan installed, instead of the metal one that came with it when brand new in 1979?

What I mean is: did you ask them to keep the metal fan intact?

Anyway, yes, I would like to see pictures of the speed switch, close up, after you get it back.

I only sent it in for polishing at my local distributor,

He was not asked to do any replacements, only polishing.

Will be sure to get pictures, hopefully He'll have it ready by Tomorrow.

I've been told that the part number for this switch is 134379.
