About 2 weeks ago I stopped at a local thrift store which is operated by several Lutheran churches in our area.  Stuck in a corner at the back of the store was a lonely looking rust colored Regina Electrik Broom.  I kind of buried it under some other things and went home and thought about it overnight.  I went back the next day thinking to myself that if it was still there it was meant to be.  Well, it was.  After paying the $6.99 + $0.38tax=$7.37 I took it home.  I didn't get around to cleaning out the dust cup or bag until yesterday.  I tried it out on the rug in the kitchen, and the 2 rugs on either side of my bed.  The bedroom rugs are quite thick so it only did a fair job on them, but it did a great job on kitchen throw rug.  This morning I spilled some powdered laundry detergent in the laundry room which is carpeted with a very short nap carpeting.  I'm totally in love with it.  Like I wrote earlier, it is a rust color with a rust colored diamond pattern on the bag.  It also has a 3 speed motor if this helps.  Approx how old would it be?  Thanks for any info.

I know this will sound cliche, but in cases like this where you'd like to determine the age of the machine you found, a picture truly is worth a thousand words. How about sharing a photo or two?

Not set up to post pics but I can reference a post by a fellow member here.  Please reference Reply #2 in the link below to see what my machine looks like.  I have a rust colored one like the one pictured with a 3 speed motor also.
