Pretty cool...

Japanese vac makers seem to be very keen to offer special mattress tools which are supposed to get rid of dust mites and provide a healthier environment in which to sleep.

I think Korea's LG also offers a mattress nozzle with some of their canisters.

That beaterbar certainly is interesting, to say the least! But that god awful noise....I would just rather find another way to get a migraine headache! NO THANKS, not for my home!!

That's the first beater bar I've seen devoted to that purpose. I don't much care for the noise it makes. I've finally heard something that sounds worse than a Riccar power nozzle. Yikes!

I've noticed the Japanese get so many really cool looking vacuums if we only had a fraction of what they got here in the UK I would be very poor very quickly!!!

Interesting and really nice design. No rotating brush to snag or pull off the matteress buttons-guess could be used on ulphostered furniture as well.However----THE NOISE!!Sounds like you are trying to vacuum your matteress with a Sawzall! The thing sounds like it will saw your matteress in half.Would be so nice if the tool was quieter.
Oh yes--remember the modified Kirby "G" type vacuum that had the UV light fixture attached to it and sold for like $12,000 to vacuum matteresses with?Sort of surprized in a way that the attachment shown in the video didn't have a UV light on it.But kinda neat and clever.

My LG Kompressor canister

has an attachment similar to this, but they took it one step further by designing it with a clear plastic "observation cup". This way way you can see exactly what you're sleeping in. Believe me when I tell you that after running one of these tools over your mattress you DO NOT want to see what is pulls up! LOL

I wonder if an old Eureka Vibra-Beat Carpet Nozzle would achieve the same results?

:-)
