Hi,
Has anyone tried the Hoover Windtunnel stick vac? There is a cordless called the Lynx and then there is the same thing with a cord. I want the one with the cord. I have read great reviews. How about you out there?
Thanks,
Ch

The cordless version of the Hoover Lynx Stick Vac is now the top rated stick vac in Consumer Reports ratings. It is very good at cleaning bare floors and carpets, and excellent at cleaning pet hair and up to the edges. Here is the report summary:

"This cordless stick vacuum from Hoover was impressive at carpet-surface and bare floor cleaning and even better at picking up pet hair and getting into edges. Among other pluses, the unit's electric rotating brush can be shut off for use on bare floors. This model was also fairly quiet..."

I say "go for it!" :-)

I would say it's the best cordless stick vac i have ever used. It picks up surface litter with no issue and even manages to get some grit out. it's wonderful for light/spot cleaning or the bathroom rugs because it doesn't clamp onto them.

Hoover stick vac

Hi all,
My new Hoover windtunnel stick vac showed up yesterday.
IT works great! Lightweight, easy to push. grooms the carpet well. Great on barefloors.Could use a longer cord, but I will put an extension on it.

It is just what I need for quick pick ups.
I wonder why you don't see these in stores?

Chandler
