I was intrigued by a somewhat recent post about a new tile and grout cleaning kit for the generation series. My dad and I are deffinitely interested because 1/2 of his 6,200 sq.ft. main floor is tile, and a lot of the grout is getting pretty nasty. I have a G5 but have no desire to buy a renovator so this new brush will work with the kirby. I was however given a classic omega that has a nearly complete renovator system, and a floor polisher nozzle. How does the floor polisher work and could I use it to clean the tile/grout, and would it do it effectively?

Well,

I think I'll have a look at this new attachment when I go to pick up my Tradition from the Kirby store (Hint Hint).

If it would would with a Classic 1-CR's renovator, Then I Think I'll pick on up for the tile at my house.

The email said for use with the g-series. I don't know a single thing about g-series nozzles, but I would imagine the nozzle itself is a different length/size than the pre 90' models. At this point it is a debate if it's cheaper to buy a g-series renovator or get the missing parts for my 1-Cr.
In addition, I never realized his floors have never been waxed and maybe that's why they look so dull and old, in addition to the dirty grout? If we applied wax is that an application for the floor buffer??
