I saw online a canister vacuum called the Aria it is a real departure from their R2D2 machine that I would love to have. anyway do any of you guys and gals,, have one or worked on one or know anything about one? they told me they have a 2 stage motor same oen that is in the R2D2 looking unit. Are their motors good can you replace the brushes and stuff? thanks again for your expertise.

I want to thank all of you for your replies, Anyways in case if anyone else has this question the brushes are replaceable and the motor has two fans. So after talking with Lindhaus they told me that the brushes are replaceable.

I was forwarded this link and just am getting to replying.. sorry for the delay..

We sell Lindhaus in our store. Its not a very fast moving brand but we carry it none the less...

I my self just got an Aria Platinum ... It is a good machine. I haven't taken it apart yet, and I guess I don't know anything other than the specs on the sales brochures... For the most part with enough skill and the right tools, you can service the motors if the parts are available...

As far as the vacuum, I like the power brush, but I use the roll from the elite on it instead of the dual row one for the platinum... Hair tangles less. As far as I am concerned every canister power team should have this power brush.. I love the way this power brush cleans and maintains speed when you use it. It is always the same action when you use it..

What I don't like about the Platinum is that the hose only does a half swivel at the handle and is stationary at the canister. Also, I don't like the digital power control because when you turn the machine off and unplug it when you go to plug it in again, you have to reset the speed to high because it always defaults to medium ... That being said I love the carrying handles on the canister and I like the way the canister alone maneuvers ... I just wished the hose swiveled...

Thanks for your reply,, If you ever take the vacuum apart please post pics if that would be okay with you. I would love to see the motor. I want one of these. I like the look of it.
