Here is a delightful looking Soviet vacuuming device, likely used by Ninotchka after having been dragged back to Mother Russia and forced to clean her Kommisar's apartment. Good design, notice the Soviet turquoise wand and attachment.

Well, you must remember the Soviet mentality, Alan ;] Nasa spent millions making a pen that wouldn't lose it's ink in Zero G for use by astronauts.. The Soviets used a pencil. You know where I'm going with this? :P |
