I agree.
Fantastic customer service is not only desired, but expected. The Rainbow distributors make over $1500 profit when they sell a Rainbow for 'retail' price (they cost about $550 from the manufacturer), so every customer should be treated like gold and given the 'red carpet treatment'. This is, sadly, not always the case.

I had an Electrolux Super J back in the late 80s, with a PN-2. The power nozzle developed problems, so I called the nearest Electrolux office, which was almost 50 miles away, and they sent a man and a lady to me on a service call. They brought me a loaner to use while my PN was repaired, plus some free bags. About a week later, they returned with my repaired nozzle, and that was it. I don't remember the exact cost, but at the time I thought it was reasonable. Not the first time I heard of Electrolux going out of their way to take care of a customer.
