I have a fascination with shopvacs,
Perhaps because I am very much a handyman, always up to something, I am always working with wood and building something.

I really like the old metal drum ones, and this last week I found two I have wanted for a long time.

I will start with the wapxl 25 I got today. I absolutely love this model.

This is a 1980 model as it has the black tank cuff. The pre 80's models have a white tank cuff.

I really like shopvacs with bower functions, Its just so handy in the workshop.

So Today I finally got around to taking the motor out, Wow is the only word to describe this. No wonder it was not sucking. This is a double stage motor. First stage hiden in the motor base.
