Oh, and 912 or 912A (did some extensive scouring through the archives here), seller isn't sure which as he can't find the ratings plate (emailed him and asked). Hope it's there somewhere and he just doesnt know wher to look. Are they blatent on these, or hidden? |

No, not a collector, but he was pleased when I said I collected them, rather than wanting it for scrap. The fact that it runs is enough, it's from the era where a bit of new grease and a gentle overhaul should see it 100% again. Got a belt for it too (bought 2 for the 875, and only needed one!) |

one needed new flex and a belt i took it to work one day after the henry broke bown the cleaners were delighted they have a very large function room to vac with good quality carpet i pit a paper bag inside the cloth bag before letting them get there hands on it when they had finished we looked in the bag and couldnt believe our eyes the bag was at least half full with that ground in dust that gets right down into a carpet the everthing the Henry had missed i am thinking of letting them use it all the time then it will be doing what it was meant to do and not stuck in my shed

but very efective just pull the spring loaded pin and turn the wheels to the desired height these machines were built to withstand almost anything and were used in cinemas and hotels that had lots of carpet the big bag meant you didnt have to empty it two often either they are also really quiet i found this one in an old pub that was about to be demolished it stank of stale beer and fags but after some TLC its fine
