I wonder who now owns the rights to this famous brand-name. Would be nice to see Reginas back in the stores....even if they are only stickvacs for bare floors! (hey....that kinda rhymes....)

Nice Regina, Robert!

What model is it? I have a couple myself, model 39 and 59. Here's a pic of both of them.

Its a model 35, does that indicate the year of manufacture? They are very powerful, I picked up a throw rug with mine!

I'm not quite sure if the model number is any indication of the year it was made, but I do know that would mean yours is older than mine. However, I think the bag on yours may be a replacement from a later model.

Norm,

No, they both were given to me by a co-worker at Courier Printing. You have given me quite a few vacs over the years (thanks again!) but no Reginas. You did give me a Eureka that somewhat resembles the Regina. This may be the one you're thinking of.

That Regina is as pretty as Barbara Eden on a Sunday morn! It may be true that I favor all things vintage Kirby and Eureka, but that Regina almost makes me want to reconsider. Jeff, that 1927 model 10 has a really rare replacement bag from about 35 to 36 and is a super nice example. I've included a photo of my model 9 and 10 flanking an early C.
