Vacuum Building Update

Hans,
Is that the GE floor washer box that Tania got on a visit to my house? It looks a little familiar! You will never know how it almost got pitched. Tania could not take it with her and I ALMOST pitched it, thinking-who would want this? Sure glad I hung on to it for her a little longer.
Your collection looks great. I just spent the last few months selling off my collection. Somehow it was a lot more fun finding the machines than advertising, packing and selling all the machines.
Also think your new house looks great.
Rob

You have a gorgeous collection Hans. Truly museum quality machines - I've seen them in person. Congratulations on a great display. Are you and I the only people with a McAllister Bagless? Yours is the only other one I've ever seen, other than mine.

That's an amazing collection you have, and well displayed! Congrats on having a spacious building to put them in, and a great job moving them in and organizing them.

great collection!

I really enjoyed seeing that great canister selection! My next machine is hopefully going to be a 50s eureka rotomatic. Thanks Bill

Ah, someone else has the canister disorder too! Beautiful collection, especially the Kenmores lurking down on the bottom shelf. And look at that big wheel Lewyt! Is that the original color?

Ooooh, I see the Avocado Bombers twin on the bottom shelf!

Beautiful Stuff . . .

I especially like the chrome top GE with the cord reel. When I was small my aunt and uncle had one of those, how I loved to play with that! And the Apex Stratocleaner, the Royal, and of course I always love Compacts and Filter Queens . . . wish I had time and space for a collection of that size and quality.

Hans,

Absolutely wonderful. As Tom said, a museum quality collection. Well done!

brings back memories when I went to the factory in Bronson ,Michigan and saw the hoe of Kingston. The first model was Kingston, then Germatron, then Saniway and Royal. All the same body and manufacturer.

RE GEM

The Gem was a machine Tom got from Ruth Hollander, it was new when he got it, I have had it about 10 years or so, for a short time, Ruth sold them, as well as Saniways.
