I've ran across a kennmore duopower in my latest thrift finds however no bag is to be found. Does anyone know what number bag it takes? Or if a sub can be made?

If it's models 3060,3080,3180, 3280 or 3380 it takes bag (20) 5026 although bag (20) 5025 will work as well, one being slightly bigger capacity than the other I forget which. Do you have the detachable plastic "bag" collar that slides onto the bags cardboard collar first, then clicks into the mounting inside the vacuum, you need that piece.
Call Sears and ask if they still have 5026 or 5025 available, I think it's no longer available in which case I can send you a couple of bags
BTW it's not the self propelled model you got is it.. my golden quest since mine disappeared last year in the move.

Also inside the vac chamber on the bottom there should be a removable foam filter cartridge that slides in over the intakes. It's washable but at the age it is now will probably crumble if you do so be careful. There might be another filter on the top of the deck near the headlight, a little square with foam which might be crumbling.

Sorry it took so long for a pic, and its not that good but, you can see the bag holder is kind of oval shaped. No model # tag was ripped off. So if anyone would have bags for this model i'd love to get ahold of some. Also does anyone know what kind of rear wheel i could rig to fit this machine one is missing.

It looks like you may be missing the bag holder clip as well in there..prolly got tossed out when someone threw away one of the full bags and forgot to take it off. That happened to me.

I wounldnt doubt it, probably one of the guys in the back of the store. So do you know what bags it takes?

Well the shape of that tube opening is right for the bag 5026. Is it on the right side or the left side or the vac chamber as you face the machine from the front. Because bag 5026 would require that the tube be over towards the left side as the bag opening is not in the center of the bag but offset

I see some on ebay but they want like 20 bucks for them, if you have some you'd like to give up i'd gladly pay for them to get here.
