The Carpet and Rug Institute gave out a new spate of awards for vacuums recently. Among them was the Aerus Platinum vacuum which was awarded Bronze. This means it removed 40-49% of soil in 4 passes averaged over 3 separate test periods. Silver is 50-54% of soil removed in 4 passes and Gold is anything over 55% in 4 passes. To qualify it is 10% more soil removal than the old Green Label. Just thought lovers of the Platinum might like to know. I'm sure they'll stick that on the box soon.
