Hi All,

So as you know, I replaced my Miele Twist with a Shark Rotator Lift Away which I love for my in-between cleanings with the central vac. What I really love is their multi-angle dusting brush! It is perfect for dusting just about every surface in my house. Unfortunately, it can't be used with my central vac hose and there is no adaptor to make it fit. I bought the adaptor to use Miele tools with my central vac because I had purchased their multi angle dusting tool as well which is nowhere near as great as Shark's tool. Does anyone on here know of a tool similar to Shark's that would work on a central vac hose? Dyson's tool doesn't fit to my knowledge either.
Thanks in advance!

Hi
Are you talking about the Miele universal dusting brush, i.e SUB20 model? I find it fine - infact its on a par with Sebo's smaller triangular brush. What don't you like about it? Only downsides I find is that its slightly bulky and can't be stored on the machines.

Hi, that is the brush! The Shark tool doesn't push dust around as much in my opinion. It also covers a larger surface much quicker...I'm a busy guy and appreciate the short cuts whenever possible!

I don't know about you guys...

But I see a huge similarity between the Shark dusting brush and the Dyson dusting brushes that I've linked below. I hope this helps! :)

Soft Dusting Brush : $29.99

Multi Angle Brush : $34.99

Or you can buy those two brushes in a set long with the stiff bristle brish for $64.99 :)

Hi guys!
Yes, I have seen those tools and often wondered if they would fit my central vac hose. I know that my parents tools from their Dyson DC07 and Dyson DC17 don't fit on their new Dyson DC41. I didn't want to purchase the Dyson tools until I was sure they would fit the central vac hose. I'm terrible with making returns.

I think the Dyson specialty tools come with adaptors. I could be wrong, but most attachments that are purchased like that do :)

The Dyson Soft Dusting Brush will fit your 1 1/4" central vac or canister hose. Here is a link to a website that state right on it the hose will fit Dyson's & 1 1/4" vacuums with standard tools. Plus, I have spoken in the past with Scott 'piano_god' on here, & he has said Dyson tools will fit standard vacuums, & in the link for the Dyson home cleaning kit, the Soft Dusting Brush does appear to have an adapter on it. You could either buy just the tool alone, or perhaps try the kit, as it does have Dyson's version of your Shark tool.

Hope this helps you out....Rob
