I've always found them pretty dire tbh, although both of the ones I've stripped and cleaned were used for plaster dust. The part that directs dirt to the cyclones clogs frequently too Id go for a dc08 personally |

I have the DC08Tanumal and the turbine heads aren't very good in my opinion |

Thanks Joe, Sam and George, however we used our DC08 origin for plaster and all that DIY stuff, and although it still worked, it was making an electrical smell kind of, and made a grinding smell when turned off |

and i can say the dc08/19 (they're they exact same), is probably the better option as it is more comfortable to use, the dc11's handle grip is very big and cumbersome to use, the area where the tube connects into 2 also has an issue with getting clogged a lot, overall the dc08 is a better option, ultimately the decision is up to you but that's just my 2 cents
