Hello Follow Vac user Derek here from New zealand My Daughters Electrolux twinclean has a major problem with the motor . The problem is it will run fine on the slower speed but when I push the button to run it on full speed it sounds and runs very rough and I shut it off before it does more damage . I am wondering if the motor is not getting the correct voltage to run it or part of the winding is burnt out . I have taken the motor out and checked it ,the brushes look new but the copper part that the brushes come in contact with were a bit dirty so cleaned them ,put it all back together and it still has the problem . maybe the high speed button has a fault in it ?? I was considering taking the motor out and running it on the bench at its full 240 volts to test it to isolate the buttons on the handle . Please can anyone out there help me solve this problem ? Derek
