Thanks Tayyab, the switch is actually missing lol, it's just the switch cover left. Oh and that bit of plastic missing is because rather than using the correct screwdriver to get the plate that covers the wires off, who ever had it last just snapped it off :( Haha, I think I like the cable more than the original! That Dc01's future was never bright. The cyclone, motor and head now live on my DC01 and the rest is scrap... |

Hi Dave,
Well, the machine you gave me if I'm honest wasn't in the best condition, and when I got the motor running it sounded pretty rough. But I really appreciate you giving it to me. The DC01 you gave me has now been torn apart and used to make 2 other machines (one of which I own) and the other one belongs to George (Dysondestijl). Thanks, Joe |

It's good to see that parts have been re-used. I would have been surprised if it had worked perfectly after sitting in a garage for ten years.... ;) I would still like to see one of these motors to investigate bearing access for lubrication. All best Dave T |
