Hello! I just recently got a Fantom Thunder and I know how to remove the filter casing I think. I hold that one button thing and pull up. Is that right? It is STUCK in place. Wont budge a bit. I need some more advice or tips for getting the casing off. The picture down below is the unit

I used to have a Fantom Thunder and I do recall having to use a bit of force to pull the filter casing off. But, do keep in mind that you just have to remove the top cover to replace the filter. Maybe you need to push the latch and pry up lightly with a flat head screw driver?

Have you try pulling the handle back and trying to pull it out? Is there anything keeping it from moving out? Maybe something sticky spilled onto it and made it sticky inside of it.

it's easier if you have the machine in operating mode. Push on the button and wiggle the filter case back and forth until it comes off. sometimes you really have to push on that latch, but don't push too hard and break it.

fantom thunder help

here's what you do. get a butter knife and VERY GENTALY press on the little tap and while you are doing that grab the top of the HEPA filter housing and pull. depending on how strong you are you can use just a little bit of force to make the HEPA filter housing just pop out. tell me if this helps
