Hi sam! Love you turbopowers! Its me..Will! i have managed to get on here finally. Haha. Also i have managed to get hold of a turbomaster which i will be getting next week and will be sure to put up a pic and a possible vid of it in action. Also looking to swap my lux contour Flexihead for a turbopower or junior if you know of any going. Love your collection of turbopowers.

Hey will you made it! I have a turbopower 2 you are welcome to, but the motor slows slightly and I haven't investigated why yet.

George kindly sent me his u1220 manual, which was thoroughly decent of him. Got a few more to get still, may make a wanted post later

OOOW i will bear that in mind sam..It may well be the carbon brushes..I had a dyson once that did that and it was the brushes but i could not get any so just ended up replacing the whole motor itself. Then a friend of mine borrowed it and killed it again by sucking up water! i was so annoyed with him lol. Now me and my wifes vacs stay at our house and never get lent out. We have a nine month old little girl who also gets quite fascinated by the Vacuum...Can't wait to see her reaction when we get the turbomaster :-)

I have a spare working turbo 2 motor if it is needed?

I think it may be carbon brush related, maybe wiring it up incorrectly did hurt it! Need to turn it on outside and see what it does, it may clear itself up.

Cheers for the motor offer Jake, may take you up on that in the future!

Got too many other more worthy machines in the queue though first!
