The Filter Queen Majestic 99 that I have needs new motor bearings and I have replaced the bottom bearing, but I have trouble getting the the top bearing cap off to replace the the top bearing.
Is there a easy way to get it off with out damaging the armature?

YES!

I use a bearing puller that was make for the old Kirby machines to get the back bearing off. It works great! Once off you just tap the new one on. I also have a bearing puller set i bought off eBay a while back which has been very handle for a number of different machines.
