Hey guys, I just moved into a house, and here sits, in my closest (go figure) a tristar exl.
Well I had a few questions....firs one would be how hard it is to get and install a new motor, this thing leaves more to be expected when it comes to suction lol.
I'll post pics tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.

It should be easy to disassemble the unit; the EXL/MG/CS/A101 only has 3 screws that hold the upper & lower halves together. After opening the canister, you'll be able to access the motor. I recommend getting the Ametek/Lamb #115923 high performance motor. Be sure to replace the motor filter with a HEPA motor filter, clean out the cloth bag & replace the paper bag.

Ok cool, when I found it, they had been using just the cloth bag, everything on it works great, thanks for the responce
