What is the appropriate belt for a General Electric/Premier carpet sweeper? I’ve been using a Hoover Elite belt and it rides on the end of the pulley instead of in the center. Occasionally the belt will fall off.

I have one of those I will check to see what belt I put on it. I think it may have been a hoover power drive belt.

Ok it is definitely not a power drive belt and its not an elite belt. The markings are gone off the belt I have but it strikes me as being a regina housekeeper or a royal/dirt devil belt.

If that's a Dirt Devil belt you're thinking of that also fits a Regina Housekeeper, that's a Dirt Devil style 4/5 belt you're thinking of. I have seen this style belt in HomeCare Industries packaging in dept. stores, being marketed as Dirt Devil & either Regina Housekeeper or Fantom Fury underneath it. So, hope that helps you out, Kenny.
