We had the dyson CYCLON, pretty much exactly the same as the G-Force! |

The Cyclon 1000 was first. It was made by Zanussi in Italy. There were only a few hundred built. Mine is serial number 46. There is NO shroud, no pre-motor filter (they use a tiny bottle brush as a pre-motor lint filter) and no post motor filter either.
The G-Force (made in Japan by APEX) had a steel soleplate, height adjustment lever, and a Shroud (to keep lint from going into the high efficiency cyclone). The G-Force was made for a good number of years. There were thousands sold. It should, in fact, be easier to obtain a G-Force than a Cyclon. |
