Hi everyone! I have an Electrolux 1521. The cord is not retracting all the way in. Any ideas on how I can fix this? The cord winder is easy to get to. Is it just a matter of lubricating an area of the cord winder? If so what area? What should I use to lubricate? Thanks! | ||

Check your spring Often its not a matter of lubrication it is the spring going off alignment. In most cases I have been able to take the winder all the way apart and recoil the spring back into alignment to correct the problem. | ||

Would someone please give directions on how to rewind a cord winder spring on an Electrolux Model G? | ||
