I got a Kenmore Upright today from GoodWill that's in like new condition except for one thing.....For some reason the left wheel is rubbing on the pedal release not allowing it to turn when you are trying to vacuum. I have checked both wheels and axel they are not damaged in any way. The pedal release isn't broken either so I don't know what to do! Anyone ever had this problem before?!

I read through this thread, but this doesn't seem to be the problem with mine. I looked a bit closer and the pedal release is rubbing in the back wheel making it very hard to push.....I will try tightening up the screw that holds the pedal in place and if that doesn't work I'll just remove the whole thing so that the cleaner can roll again.
