Hello,

Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a replacement plastic ribbed wand for my tan Model G's PN-1?  I understand that this type was prone to cracking.  I have tried super gluing mine but it cracked again when I tried to put a new hanger on it (the original one was gone when I got the machine).

Also, did Electrolux or another company ever make a hose hanger?  I am currently using two 16 penny nails.

Paul

I may have one.

I may have a good used one. I will check in the garage and storage unit and let you know.

There was a hanger for Lux XXX

I remember my mother had one.

It had a place to hang the hose, a place to hang the cord and the bottom of it was a hook on which the tank hung.  Very neat and handy.

I still can see it hanging in a closet at home.

Anyone else remember it?

Electrolux hose hanger

There was another version about 1982 that had rounded top for hose to hang over, hook for power nozzle wand clip, slot for 2 aluminum wands (connected) to hang, tab for crevice tool to hang from and hook to rest rug/floor on.With the above floor on vac it was a great storage idea but was a separate item that not many salesmen added to a vac sale.

Seth, Steve, Greg F., and Jimmy,

Thanks for your replies.  I appreciate it!

Seth:  I'd rather have an original even though yours sounds nice.  The one I have does not have the Electrolux name (unless it's inconspicuous).

Greg F.:  Thanks for the hanger information and sketch (nice).  Wish I could get one of those.  I'll keep an eye out.

Steve:  I'll get a pic posted sometime soon.

Jimmy:  If you can scrounge up a photo or send me a link that would be great.

Paul
