Has anyone ever seen one of these before? I tried to bid on it but I lost. Considering who the high bidder was that is no supprise. No one beats him. Same guy that won the Hoover paperweight that Charlie Lester mentioned in the " Electrolux paraphernalia" thread. Oh well, any info would be great. If anyone has one of these (or any other odd Royal handvac) they want to sell that would be even better.

Hi Lux,

I will start off by saying I know nothing about this vacuum. Do you think attachments would go on the front tube? It seems limited if not.

By the way, how did you make out with the car cleaning on the Buick?

The Buick is still in the Garage 3 weeks later. It's having the ABS brake valves replaced along with some sensors. The ABS valves go in early this week and then they can get to everything else. I should have some cleaning results in about a week from now if all goes well.

As for the hand vac, I would assume some attachments or a hose would go on the front. I have seen very old royal handvacs that have a straight suction nozzle instead of a brush roll but I have never seen one with just a pipe. The seller sent me some pictures and the pipe is actualy part of the housing and is not attached seperatly. There are no holes for mounting the regular nozzle so I would assume that it was this way originaly and not something home made.

Hi Lux,

I checked out the winning bidder's past activity, and you are so right. He never loses. He must have very deep pockets. Hard to compete with that.

Yeah, and he "snipes" 'em every time....
