I love that video. I've been through some homes with shag carpeting in them. That's one neat aspect of going to estate sales. One home we went though was a two story with wall-to-wall shag carpet. They used a self propelled Concept one. I thought it was a very appropriate vacuum for the home.

u4007

That is the same vac I bought last week for 10 bucks at Goodwill. Mine is in great shape, and I can't stop cleaning with it! Mine is more of a tan color. the one in the video looks gold.

I remember shag carpet, I was there!

I hope to find a deluxe tool set for it. Anyone coming to Milwaukee with a set to sell?

My carpets look better already.

that was in a terrible flood in 1972, "Agnes". After the school was restored, they carpeted every classroom. The school purchased 8 of those vacuums from the late Betty Fritz, in Wilkes Barre. Can you imagine 8 of them in one school? It was wonderful. That was the top of the line vacuum back then. True: "When only the best will do".
