I just bought a Filter Queen model 700 complete with the brown power Nozzel, gave it a spa day and gifted to a very good lady friend of mine named Nadine.

She recently called me and I was delighted because the last time I saw her was about 10 years ago.
I did ask out of curiosity if she still had her Filter Queen. She said that she did not and that somewhere in her move she lost it and could not afford to replace it .

So, I thought I would find the exact Vacuum and gift it to her as a surprise.
I showed up at her place today, gave her the biggest hug and told her that I had a surprise .
I then brought the shiny F/Q into her apartment and said " here you go , this is for you"

She almost had tears in her eyes , gave me a big hug and said " thank you "

We reconnected and had a wonderful visit.
I am delighted how my love and passion for friendship and vacuums helped us reconnect!
The power of giving is awesome and it feels great!

People have given me machines that I've been looking for for so long. I'll never part with thrm because they came from them. Likewise, I love to see the faces on people when I'm able to give them something thay've longed for, OR , something I had made for them, etc. It is the fact that 'someone cares'. And, you did a great thing. She'll enjoy the machine and always remember YOU for your kindness. THAT is called human kinidness.

Wow. That has happened to me before, but I wish I could do what you did and return the favor. What model FQ was it?

Model 700

I believe there is always the possibility to return the favour.
It just may be in or through other ways or avenues.
The key thing is to give from a place where you feel excited about giving.
You could create that stream of kindness from your excitement that you generate within yourself.
How about that possibility ?
