I bought what I believe to be a hoover model 800 that I started to restore but have had some problems restoring. Here is a list of the things I need:

Rubber bumper strip that goes around the lower part of the vacuum part

Suggestions on repainting

New power cord

New bag

The vacuum works now yes, but the biggest issue I am having now is when I shut the machine off all the dirt I have sucked up just comes right back out and there is a clump of dirt that has came out of the bag or machine itself... I am really lost on the restoration and can't continue any further. I have been looking online but haven't been able to locate the parts I need. Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you!

Taylor
