I am going over to one of my vac storage locations tomorrow and on my list of things to do is replace the belt in one of my housekeepers. I am not about to go to the vac store for a belt when I have a box full of misc. belts at home. Can anyone tell me what an equivalent size belt for the housekeeper would be? I was thinking like a dirt devil style 4, or hoover elite belt.

It’s the Dirt Devil style not sure of the number. This is what a vac shop in Illinois told me it worked fine in my 1000 Regina Housekeeper.

yes, I do recall putting a style 4 in my 3000. I am assuming even for the big foot ones all housekeepers had the same belt?

brushrolls

I have some new brushrolls for the regina housekeepers if anyone needs one. I also have some hoses, handles, and a few other random parts.

You are correct about the dirt devil 4/5 belt. As far as I can tell its the same size.

Do you have a dark blue handle and a light blue hose for a housekeeper?

I am pretty sure I have a light blue hose. I will have to hunt through the garage to try and locate a handle though. Ill see what I come up with over the weekend and let you know.

is this it?

Just went in the garage looking for something else and look what I come across. I will hunt down the hose tomorrow.

That's it!

Perfect! Now I won't have to live with my glued and screwed together handle.
