When I clean the separator on my 2011 rainbow when I put the separator back on and start cleaning I get a louder pitch from the motor. It almost sounds like something is off balance. If I take the separator off and put it back on the noise goes away. The separator is always seated correctly and the plastic nut tightened finger tight. I ways put the separator on and turn it the way the motor turns so it seated up against the metal shaft and then tighten the nut if that makes any since. Anyone else have this problem?

Actually, it was a problem for Rexair. The separator is not completely balanced. I have seen this problem several times before. You need a new separator - it's still under warranty so obtaining a new one should be no problem.
