Three vacuum cleaners that all need work, I guess to some with collections that is no big deal, though I am using the Electrolux as the primary vacuum and it needs to be fixed first. The blue canister Model L Electrolux has a jam in the hose, either I need a new hose or have it fixed. Anyone here have a new hose put on with the old end parts (that was a suggestion)? Is that a good solution? Or is it better to find a vintage hose?

Kirby needs repair, the brush doesn't turn, it worked great at one time. Are they worth getting fixed?

The round vacuum is just so wonderful, I forgot the name. I keep it because I like the way it looks. It did work but needs parts, are those parts easy to find?

Service shops gave me suggestions but what is worth my money? All these vacuums are from the 1960's thru 1980's?, I'm not sure about the Kirby. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Post some pictures so we have an idea of what machines you are referring to. The L is definitely a keeper and Im sure as any member can tell you that vintage electrolux hoses are hard to come by so keep the hose. Clogs can be removed. Kirby's are awesome machines and normally can be easily repaired. Post some pics id like to see what you have. Smile

'The round one' is the hoover constellation, and the Kirby classic most likely just needs a new belt- if the brush doesn't turn...
