You can tell Spring is coming as it is time for me to clean the screened porch floor. If you ever want to test the loss of air flow on any vacuum-clean a cement porch floor! I have used my old Rainbow and now my newer Rainbow for the job. I have tried about all the machines and with the bags and filters, they just clog up after a couple of swipes. No loss of suction or air flow with my Rainbow. I go over the floor first with the dry floor brush, empty it once now ready to do wet scrub next with the Rainbowjet.

Now I am set up for the wet scrub part using the Rainowjet. Start with empty water basin and it is perfectly matched to 4 tanks of cleaning solution. No more having to check the water basin during pick up. I can do the 10x12 floor with just 2 tanks. it takes less than 15 minuetes and no mess to clean up. I just pick up a solution bottle of hot water and it cleans the wands and hose. I do wash the separator after doing such a dirty job.

They have made the floor cleaning solution so concentrated I am still on the first bottle that came with the machine 2 years ago. You can see the size of the bottle compared to the Rainbow separator brush.

I did check my hepa filter as I have had the newer machine 2 years now and it has stayed perfectly clean. I need to check and see if I should still replace it.

I just love no mess with the hose or bucket of water and the floor dries in just seconds. I use the combination brush and squeegee on the cement to scrub and pick up the water.
