Have a severe shortage of lightbulbs for turbo powers. Anyone know where I can buy in cheap, bulk quantities?

EBay want £4 for one, which is too expensive for me!

Cheers

Sam

Yes yes yes!
Go to wilkinsons, and go to the bicycle accessories section, they have a couple of car parts too like petrol cans and magic trees. They should have a few bulbs, look for the 12volt push-in car indicator bulbs. These fit nicely in the turbopowers!
In fact I could see if i have any in the garage, and I could post them to you, if you want??

Found some!

Just brought these, will see if they work. Will probably still go for a drive in the morning, there's a nice burger van by halfords!

A 3W bulb is no good, its far too dim that is.
This is what I use in mine - its a high level brake light bulb with small wedge base, its excellent for what you need, and fits the Kirby Generation range too.
Nice bright bulbs and you get 10 for a tenner!

The above bulb is the 921B - its sold in Halfords as well (I only found it as my car uses them in the high level brake light). You need at least a 15W bulb in the TP1 headlamp. They come in 21W variants as well (921) for even brighter light.

These are the exact bulbs the Turbopowers take - 12 volt 10 watt push fit type bulb. They are only a pack of 2 but they are only £1.99 so who can argue with that really.
I have a 12 volt 5 watt push fit bulb in my Freedom and U2194 they were from Halfords, it is dimmer than it should be because they are supposed to take a 10 watt not 5 watt, Halfords don't sell a 12 volt 10 watt bulb for some annoying reason!

Ah nadgers

Curse my slightly beer induced ebaying! Will buy the correct ones on payday! Thanks alex for the link. Hopefully the 3w bulbs will find a use!
