There is a new Bissell commercial that's been showing on the networks here in Nashville with I guess it's the daughter of Bissell in which she's using a steam cleaner. Now I noticed in the small print at the bottom of the screen compaired to a Dyson DC33 that the Bissell cleaned better. Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't these 2 different machines? One is a vacuum & the other is a carpet cleaner and what are they trying to pull here??? Maybe I need corrective lenses or something...LOL Thanks! Mark

Bissell has to be the company most full of b.s. these days. and that proved it.I would like to do a video on how my mother's Bissell does a nice job of filtering near to nothing before it gets to the hepa. and ask for their explanation with the video as proof, as to why they are incapable of making products that last, or as companies used to be concerned with, the reputaiton of their brand and customer satisfaction. Better yet, we as consumers need to question why companies like Bissell think it's ok to dumb down the standards and make a vacuum that lasts 2 years the norm. People aren't any rougher or more neglegent to maintainence on their vacs than they were 40 years ago, and tons of vacs from the 60's-90's are still surviving, but not the crap sold today. So the problem is the producers, not the consumers. We can't fix stupid, but vacuums of yesterday were built to withstand the idiot user, wereas today they're built to sucumb to the idiot user.
