Hey all...recently I had posted an ad regarding replacement (bojacked) kirby parts I was looking for and came across the initials; "VCP" on some of the parts. Does anyone know what company this is by chance? I'm also still looking for blue replacements parts (esp. decals and wheels) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Holy cow....

Thank you for the heads up, but you don't think they would be okay to get parts from? (I'm kind of in a bind)

I've used Hesco for a motor once. Seems OK: my one experience didn't require any returns as I did get the right part. I've seen someone here mention them not long ago, too..

However, their Kirby section reads as follows:

"Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Models
Kirby has had a long-standing policy with [their] distributors whereas [they] restrict the use of the internet for advertising or sales. If you would like information on Kirby schematics or repair parts, please call us... ...to order your catalog."

I don't know if it's kosher to quote their phone number on these forums, so I will instead share a link to that page.

VCP

Stands for Very Crummy Parts, do not use them, and yes Hesco is the best place to get hard to find parts, they won't lie and tell you they have a part and keep your money!

Kirby parts.

Go to Kirby Needs.com for all kinds of new and some used Genuine Kirby parts, even for vintage and antique models. Been shopping there for two years for parts and accessories for my collection dating back to 1947 and to 2008. The selection is the best I've found online and the service is remarkably fast and accurate.I recently purchases a blue bumper guard and belt lifter lens for my blue Tradition. He's got the parts.

I will NEVER use vcp again. I've been with them for a long time and i've over looked the constant mistakes in my order ive over looked the fact they never refunded me $90.00 they owe me for a motor I returned, i've even over looked the fact that they screwed me when I had to turn in a Thermax warranty issue that NEVER got resolved, but I finally had it when I caught them in a few lies about why none of this stuff was resolved I found out after I was told by the GM that he never got the info then I caught him in a lie as well. Long story I don't want to go into it. I even had another collector deal with them (using my account number) to see if I was crazy and he went through the same crap. They NEVER get the order right they argue with me on parts when they are the ones who are wrong (example) I orded a cloth bag for a Compact, they told me compact didn't have cloth bags. After 10 mins of arguing about it they finaly said to me, look compact is a canister they DON'T have a cloth bag. I hung up this dumbass thought I wanted an upright zippered bag for a compact. I could go on but you get the point.
