Hello Everyone...

Amongst my 5 Connies, some suck better than others... some float better than others... Any wisdom you wise men and women can share about this? Some are louder than others. Some of mine float on both wood and carpet, some only on wood floors... What gives? What can I do to maximize sucking and floating, and minimize noise?

Hotpoint Lee, you have the magic touch with restoration work... Can I send you a Connie for recoloring? ( I hope that's not blasphemy... these are only for personal use, & I'm a color freak )

THanks!
Christopher

Well, make sure the filters are clean and if it has an outlet filter clean that too.
Mine are the same, some don’t float as well as others, make sure that there is no gap between the base ring and the main body, if there is a gap I would fill with silicon sealer also that the flotation ring is flat, dents in it can reduce lift.

Might cost a bit to ship one over to the uk, and I would probably want to keep it!!
