Wow, that looks far better than I imagined. You should be able to sell that. I've seen machines far worse than that sell. Did it not have a crevice tool? No matter, those are easy to find.

I would love it if there was one available up here in Canada (the 1205 was a US model, not made in Canada) to add to my collection; I have been wanting a green Electrolux. I would take this one if shipping from the USA to Canada were no problem.

I haven't seen a 1205 with a round plug; most 1205s I've seen have flat plugs.

Does that make it different

-1205-

Looks like a nice 1205(1968-74).As above one att is Compact. This is early version as shown by 6 screws on front cover and round bag lockout button. The plug is genuine Elux replacement only from Elux service dept to replace damaged original plug. This plug would fit through opening to remove cordwinder for later service/repair unlike generic plugs. As with many the hose has been replaced.--To the dump??I and others don't think so!

Are you offering your 1205 only to those in the USA? I live in Canada, and would offer $100 for it if you were willing to ship to me in Canada. Please let me know.

Shipping to Canada might be expensive, because of the unit's weight and bulk.

Hi again!

If nobody in the USA wants it, I'm still interested.

But could you find out how much it weighs and how much shipping would be from your location to Calgary, Alberta?

Would $100 (not including shipping) be a good offer for you?

Justin,

I already have a 1205, so I am not interested in making an offer on yours; although if you lived close-by I might.  If it works well enough, I would suggest that you donate it to a thrift store, a community shelter, or even a vacuum cleaner store that might be interested in going through it and selling it.  You might even try advertising it on Craigslist.

Part of my interest in this forum is that it promotes the maintenance and usage of vacuum cleaners instead of putting them by the curb just because of their ages.   Your machine appears to be in too good of shape to toss.

Paul

Will $75.00 be OK? 1205s are my favorite Electrolux vacuums. How much to ship to zip code 78043?
