I know people have already done this thread, but I know with lots of us our daily driver changes all the time, so this is just more if an update thread!
Anyway, I have a couple. First, my (rather messy) DC01 in blue:

Next my Dyson DC25 which my mum uses mostly, as she insists on using this and no other vacuum!

Finally, the vacuum that I use downstairs, the Kirby heritage:

Ours is

Our free Miele S5210, mainly because the missus loves it, and it's fecking brilliant!

However, I do push the Convertible, Turbopower and whatever randomness I have upstairs around.

I only have one main vacuum. Bought this a month or so ago off Amazon.I bought it after reading reviews of the Shark Navigator Lift Away and watching a few youtube videos. I must say it's a brilliant little cleaner. Far out performs the Nimble I had, I was shocked the first time I used it how much stuff it pulled up as I had thought the Nimble was a good vacuum. Got this for £99 ( would not have paid £199 that the Morphy Richards website is asking)and it came with a 5yr parts and labour guarantee. The lift away feature is a real boon for getting into awkward places and the floor head grooms the carpet really well without being too aggressive.

I use my HVC200 Henry, I know I probably shouldn't because it's rare and it's old for a Numatic but oh well, it's great to use.

TriStar EXL; the most powerful vac I own. It outcleaned my CXL; but I use the CXL only for vacing with the Wessel Werk HEB160 because the MiniStar is too aggressive on upholstery. Sometimes I use the MiniStar for vacing car interiors & stairs. Wands, tools & PN are 1-step quick connect interlock; which makes vacing with a TriStar EXL more convenient.

I now use an Electrolux AP280 (just got it from Kijiji Calgary). I used to use a JohnnyVac Jazz canister.

My mom (in Fort Wayne, IN) uses a Dyson DC25 Ball Animal.

Back in my childhood, our daily driver was a Kirby Tradition. We also had a Sears-Kenmore DynoMite canister vac for hard floors upstairs and down.

At my dad's house I normally use either my Eureka Surfacemax or my Dyson DC14. At my mom's house I use my Honeywell central vacuum. I'm actually looking for a new daily driver for my dad's house, and I'm thinking about either a vintage Eureka or Hoover.

Aerus Guardian Platinum or Filterqueen Majestic. For quick cleanups - Aerus lux 6000 upright.

Daily use machines...

Area rugs, both upstairs and downstairs, see the use of either the Eureka or my parents' Heritage II. Hard flooring and furniture downstairs is vacuumed by the Aerus Lux Classic, the solid flooring and furniture upstairs is done with the Electrolux Ultrasilencer (being more compact, it is easier to maneuver around beds and things).

The Lux G w/PN6 vacing the entire house. I try to give each vac its turn; but since I got the first TriStar EXL, I want to vacuum more with the EXL TriStar than use anything else.

Later on I'll use either the Lux L, Rainbow SE or Filter Queen K31X.

Right now.......

I'm fond of using my Compacxt C-7.

It has strong suction and a dump bag which is so helpful with the doghair it collects.

Just bought a new(er) compact from Ben (Massagemiracle).  It has a power nozzle.  I think I'll like that.

Bought it. Just waiting for it to be shipped.

I might be using my Eureka Gold Crown RotoMatic and upright.

I use my 1994 Electrolux Contour Varipower daily as it keeps my carpets and upholstery clean without putting undue wear on my vintage machines.

I know the motor is out because I checked the carbon brushes and hey were short, and it sounds different too. I think your DC04 is a wonderful cleaner :)

And thanks, I don't use it too often.
I'll upload a picture soon.

Here it is,

my DC04, it's a pretty good cleaner, one of the best Dyson made I would say ;)

The marks on the bin are from where it has banged against white furniture (not done by me, I would never treat a vacuum like that.)

@Beko1987 Yes, I might strip down and refurbish it this weekend, if I get time that is. I'll also make a video of it for my youtube channel once I'm done.

It has seen better days, but I'll post some before and after photo's like you said :)

Oh and just to add, the reason it is in such a bad state is because it has been owned by my mum for a number of years, she has just given it to me now since she got a new DC24. I would have looked after it more if it was mine.
