These vacuums seem relatively rare to me, i only saw Hoover Convertible uprights or look-a-likes when i was young...did DAMs not sell well?

Just found out

My mom still has hers from the late 60s, I thought she trashed that thing years ago! Will get photogs next time I'm in Vegas.

They sold pretty well.  When I was selling the Kirby Tradition and Heritage models, I traded in quite a few of them.  Most of them had the loose handle syndrome. :-)
